When I arrived in Bahrain a little over midnight last Friday, I knew it was the start of a three day trek towards an “upsurge in spiritual growth”.  Conferences give you that kind of feeling and mindset simply because there is an abundance of talks, sharing and workshops that would simply feed your soul. 

Add to that, in between talks, you have the empowering and powerful worships to boot. All the worship songs we have offered to God were truly soul lifting. 

Who would ever forget that wonderful early morning of Friday as we went to the Bahrain Convention Center wearing our SFC Qatar pink shirts?  

That simply started it all especially when we begun giving out our wonderful smiles and sincerest morning greetings in the venue to one another.

 It was a testament that indeed we were coming there prepared and organized as a delegation of Qatar . The realization that finally the Middle East Conference was held and completed for God’s glory gives you that message that the pursuit of Christ continues in our lives. We have to be constantly reminded now that there is more to life other than our success and careers. We should humbly have realized by now that in pursuit of a meaningful life, we pursue and strive to be Christ like. 

We move on from hereon in pursuing Christ above anything else. Let us continuously be inspired by the sharers whom God used to convey the message thru the MEC at Bahrain . To the singles of Qatar who prepared and sacrificed a lot to make our MEC a success, I honor you. 

Carry now in your hearts the realizations that happened in you during the conference and begin sharing it to our brethren who did not make it to Bahrain. Christ will always be in pursuit of us, so let us also continue in going after Christ in our lives for in the end, His promise of salvation will always be there.  

Now that you have attended the Middle East Conference in Bahrain last week, may God bless you and may you put in your hearts God’s reminder to pursue not personal glory but Christ’s glory above anything else.  

It’s time to share that meaningful and deeper pursuit of life to our brethren that did not make it in Bahrain .  

Share to them how we have been inspired as well by all the country delegates in the conference.  

The amazement we experienced as to how the SFCs in all of Middle East can prepare such wonderful numbers and presentations we all saw. . .and how we have glorified Christ through all of these.
